The following are performed as core functions:
- Managing and Operating the budget on Libraries
- Maintenance of the Libraries
- Issueing of Books and Library material
- Ensure the execution of Council’s Policy on Facilities
- Ensure access to information and knowledge
- Client services and communication with the users and public
- Ensure access to information technology and computer training
Langeberg Municipality has nine libraries under its jurisdiction situated in Bonnievale (2), Montagu (2), Ashton (2), Mc Gregor (1) and Robertson (2)
